Communication: Asks effective questions to acquire knowledge
Working through the mounting of the brackets on the walls the students had to effectively talk about tools and direction as the ladders were heavy and the holes for anchoring had to be very accurate. Knowing to get and give instruction in a constructive way as to insure a proper mounting. Also at the end of this project to properly clean up all the work areas and report to the custodial staff as to the new location of the ladders.
The students finished off with a Shop Journal entry as to the working Project.

Learning to Learn / Self directed: Believing in the ability to learn
The Students then used a fabricated template to Plasma Cut out two sets of steel retainers, Angle Grinders for clean up, Drill press for mounting holes and a Wire feed M.I.G. Welder for the assembly. A clean up and coating of Paint in the booth area. I did help pick the anchor fasteners to secure to the walls.
Collaboration: Learning from others and contribute to learning
With the use of so many tools and materials having one of the students with a background in manufacturing this helped the one student to learn about welding and assembly.
