The Repair Shoppe
12/09/2021
Just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who has supported me this past year, let alone those who I’ve seen since the early stages of COVID 19. It’s definitely been a tension filled few years!
I’m honestly so grateful for everything that has come about starting The Repair Shoppe and look forward to continuing the growth of the space together. I’m not 100% on what’s to come but I promise to keep you on your toes with my next hair dye, as well as keep you up to date with Picos shenanigans.
✨ I’m currently full for the remainder of 2021 but if you wanted to be added to my cancellation list let me know time preference to help secure a spot ✨

MONDAY MISCONCEPTION
A more recent misconception I’ve come across lately in regards to massage therapy is whether your health is considered an essential or ‘emergency’ case allowing treatment. The problem I have with these types of categories is my definition of who should come in for a massage is completely different to my neighbour, my friends, my governing political body, my parents. You know?
This past year has obviously been one we will not forget. Physical and mental distress, isolation, prolonged periods of sedentary living mandated by Ford himself. As a healthcare professional I think it is essential to be able to leave the house and do something positive for yourself. Mind you, I don’t recommend booking a massage for the sake of relaxation, but book a massage to gain more knowledge about yourself. Understand how and why your body feels the way it does. Understand how your health is an ongoing journey.
Doing DIY projects and restoring old items is fun and so rewarding, so why don’t you apply the same reasoning to yourself. The path might be a little run down, we might have to throw a bit more elbow grease in to get you back to feeling better, but remember your personal health is important and it is essential.
Let’s do some repairs together
04/01/2021
Today definitely feels like a joke.
I wont sugar coat it, I’m very thankful to be able to stay open through what is hopefully the last lockdown. With this I feel it’s even more important now than ever to support those who aren’t in the same place.
Being open brings its own struggles but it’s nothing in comparison to my job being taken away with one days notice. My plan to rotate through each occupation for my 50/50 incentive was/is more financially driven in order to quite literally pay bills and remain ~comfortable~ during COVID. However, this is getting ridiculous lol
I will be opening my bookings during the entire lockdown for anyone who:
1. Works in a restaurant and has been feeding everyone during this entire 13 months of craziness without getting the opportunity to be considered essential and get vaccinated sooner
2. Hair stylists/barbers who have had to take courses in sanitization AGAIN but continue to be shutdown even though they help with personal care helping you feel better mentally/physically about yourself after this year
3. Tattoo artists who quite literally use single use sterilized equipment and provide therapy for those who use their art as an outlet
4. Nail techs, eyelash techs, holistic beauty/wellness providers, personal trainers
You get the point.
Let’s find some positivity through this time and hopefully we will be out of the weeds soon! Please DM to book accordingly for my 50 minutes for 50 dollars let’s be equals incentive.
