What started as an unfinished basement is already taking shape. Framing is done, and the transformation is officially underway. Stay tuned as we bring this space to life from the ground up.

Lately, all I've been hearing are stories about homeowners being left with unfinished renovations, poor workmanship, or contractors disappearing after being paid.
Renovations are a big investment, and no one should have to worry about losing their hard earned money.
A few things to look for before hiring a contractor:
✔️ Ask for proof of insurance
✔️ Check references and actually call them
✔️ Look at completed projects, not just photos
✔️ Get a detailed written contract
✔️ Be cautious of anyone asking for a large payment upfront
✔️ Make sure payment schedules are tied to completed work
✔️ Trust your instincts, if something feels off, it probably is
The cheapest quote isn't always the best value, and the most expensive isn't always the best quality.
Do your homework, ask questions, and hire someone you trust. A good contractor should be happy to answer your questions and provide documentation.
