Strong Girls Summer: Learn to Lift πͺ
A 4-week educational strength training program for girls ages 13β18 who want to learn how to lift safely, properly, and confidently.
This program is designed to EDUCATE young women on the fundamentals of strength training in a supportive small-group environment. Participants wonβt just be told what to do β theyβll learn WHY they are doing it.
Led by Grace β Exercise Science graduate from Lethbridge Polytechnic and certified CSEP trainer β participants will build confidence in the gym while learning proper movement mechanics and training principles.
Participants will learn:
βοΈ Proper lifting technique and gym safety
βοΈ How to push, pull, squat and hinge
βοΈ What progressive overload is and how strength is built
βοΈ How to structure effective workouts
βοΈ How to use gym equipment correctly
βοΈ The fundamentals of long-term strength training

Tuesdays & Thursdays
July 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28 & 30

If your training plan is only heavy lifting, youβre missing a piece.
Pilates definitely wonβt replace your strength training.
But it will make you better at it.
We work on:
