Two shows, two amazing schools —St. Thomas Aquinas and Woodhaven—an incredible way to kick off the weekend. Huge shoutout to the band for pulling it off with a fast turnaround, and a special moment for my son Taidan, who absolutely crushed his first performance with us! These events were extra special with students and teachers performing on stage—a powerful reminder of what happens when a community comes together. A big thankyou to the River Cree Resort & Casino for their generous contribution in recognizing and appreciating our teachers and staff. The River Cree donated 6 hotel stays and meals, also some concert nights for some very deserving teachers and support staff from both schools. Your support means the world to us! Also, a huge thanks to Focused Energy Productions generously donating our stage lighting, auditorium lighting, and capturing today’s amazing moments on video. The students had a blast—and were super excited to receive loads of Starbucks and Mcdonalds gift cards throughout the day! Mental health affects people from all walks of life, often in ways we don’t see coming. As a frontline responder, I witness it firsthand on those late-night calls, and will always strive to bring hope to assist in being the turning point in someone’s life. This year, we’re proud to support Darkness into Light Edmonton for the third year – a walk to raise awareness for mental health Victoria Park Edmonton Pavilion on May 10, 2025, at 4 AM. The boys and I will be up early, providing music and joining this important conversation. This event continues to grow, shining light on a critical issue.
