Ever launched a site with a countdown timer⦠and no actual launch?
I have. It was chaos.
Years ago, a client wanted a big splash. Launch date. Countdown. Surge of excitement.
The only problem? Nothing was actually ready.
The website looked good.
But the payment system? Not set up.
Email sequences? Unfinished.
The course? Still being written.
And the countdown timer?
Oh, that thing mocked us π€
We reset it not once, not twice, but four times. Each time it ticked down, we scrambled harderβwhile the site sat live and empty.
The product itself was amazing. The launch strategy flopped.
And it taught me something I've never forgotten:
Artificial urgency doesn't serve anyone.
Deadlines don't make a product ready. They just make people panic.
Now when I work on launches, I ask different questions:
Is the experience tested?
Is the messaging clear?
Is the client actually ready to welcome people in?
If not, we pause. We skip the countdown. We launch quietly, confidently, when things are truly ready.
Your launch should be the beginning of trustβnot the end of a breakdown β¨
You don't need urgency to be impressive. You need clarity, confidence, AND a site that's ready to work.

Your website is... okay.
Not great. Not terrible. Just... there.
You know it's not doing what it should. People say they like it, but nobody's booking calls. You can't figure out why.
Here's the thing: most "okay" websites have the same 5 problems. And they're fixable.
I created a free 5-day email series called the Website Wake-Up Call to walk you through exactly what's broken and how to fix it.
π§ Each morning, you get one short video (under 10 min) covering:
Day 1: Why your amazing business isn't getting clients online
Day 2: The trust test your site needs to pass
Day 3: Making it easy for everyone to say yes
Day 4: Future-proofing without the tech headache
Day 5: Your next steps (and when to get help)
No fluff. No overwhelm. Just practical stuff you can actually use.
By day 5, you'll know exactly what's keeping your website from working - and what to do about it.
Want the wake-up call? Comment or DM me WAKEUP and I'll send you the link. π

"I spent years and thousands with web designers. Broken links. I'd given up." β Dr. Keirsten Taillon
You've been burned. Maybe multiple times.
Hired someone. Paid well. Got something that was... fine-ish? But had problems you couldn't fix.
Or they disappeared. Or it looked pretty but didn't work. Or they made you feel stupid asking questions.
Now: Your site doesn't reflect your business. You're scared to try again.
What if you invest $10K and end up in the same spot?
You're not the problem.
Keirsten had given up entirely.
Been through multiple designers. Had the broken links to prove it.
Took one more chance.
Six months later:
π 196% user growth
π 62 β 466 organic visitors (7.5x)
π Actually works for everyone
Her words: "Blown away."
We're not magical (okay, maybe a little β¨)
We just built it to actually FUNCTION. Not just look pretty in screenshots.
If you've been burned and you're hesitant - I get it.

You land on a site. Popup covers everything. "Give me your email!"
You haven't read a word. Don't know if you're on the right site. Already trying to get to third base π This is already bad UX (user experience) but wait, it gets worse - because it's not *just* annoying:
β Screen reader users: Stuck. Can't dismiss it. Site totally inaccessible.
β Phone + bad connection: Popup loads first. Can't see underneath.
β Keyboard navigation: X button might not work.
Business owner has no idea.
Tested with their mouse. Worked fine.
Blocking 25% of visitors entirely.
"But email lists!"
Sure. But not people frantically clicking yes to escape your roadblock.
Those aren't subscribers. Those are hostages.
Let people look around first.
Then make it easy for interested people to connect.

In-content forms work.
