Attention Lethbridge
🚨 YOUR AMBULANCE SERVICE IS STAYING IN LETHBRIDGE! 🚨
To our incredible community: YOUR VOICES MADE THE DIFFERENCE! đź’›
The Government of Alberta has officially listened to the people of Lethbridge! Minister Adriana LaGrange has formally directed EHS Alberta to IMMEDIATELY HALT the procurement process that threatened to tear apart our 114-year-old integrated Fire/EMS model.
🗣️ You Made This Happen
When our integrated system was put on the line, Lethbridge stepped up. You shared our posts, packed council chambers, and flooded phone lines. This is a massive victory for local public safety, and it belongs to you!
🙏 We want to extend a sincere thank you to Minister Adriana LaGrange and our local MLA and Minister, Nathan Neudorf.
Minister LaGrange listened to our frontline concerns and explicitly recognized that the previous approach did not reflect the true partnership the province has with communities like ours.
🚑 We Aren’t Going Anywhere
Our members will be exactly where they’ve always been—staffing the trucks and ambulances, ready to answer your call.
Thank you, Lethbridge, for having our backs. We will always have yours. đźš’đźš‘

Not all rescues involve fighting fires! 🚒🦆
Earlier tonight, the crew from #3 Station, B Platoon, Engine 3 stepped up to help some of our smallest local residents. A handful of ducklings managed to fall through a storm drain, leaving them trapped and separated from their mother.
Thanks to the quick thinking and teamwork of the Engine 3 crew, the little ones were safely fished out of the drain, completely unharmed. A huge shoutout and thank you to the kind local residents who stepped up to help and care for the ducklings and keep them safe until their mother felt comfortable enough to come back and reclaim her little ones! 🙌❤️

Proud of our team for keeping everyone in Lethbridge safe, no matter how small.

🚨 MEET YOUR LETHBRIDGE FIREFIGHTER PARAMEDIC: JAYDEN 🚨
Jayden has been a firefighter paramedic for four years.
For him, being a firefighter paramedic means being the calm presence on someone’s worst day or in a moment of chaos. He loves the purpose this job gives him and that “Every day is different, every moment relies on our crew to work together and make a positive impact in somebody’s life.”
Jayden says being a firefighter paramedic means being part of something bigger than yourself. It’s more than a job – “You train together, struggle together, trust each other with your lives, and show up for complete strangers on their worst days. There’s a bond in that kind of work that’s hard to explain unless you’ve lived it.”
