Nebular Woodcraft

It's been a busy week, milling some cherry boards to start the next build.

There has been alot on the go, preparing for a master bedroom makeover. Sadly, everything is on hold till next month before I can finish it to take pictures.

Who likes purpleheart? (Yes, it is actually naturally purple, no stain here!!)

This desk (inspired by one of my favorite woodworkers) was the biggest furniture project I built to date (it was definately the most heavy) it visually looks simple, but to make it simple looking was complicated.

It was a great build, and now sits in a classroom to be adored by many people. It definately stands out and that is why I love it.

Sorry no nice indoor photos for this one, the garage at that time was too small for good photos.

Went through my offcuts this morning and decided to brush up on my handcut joinery skills.

This morning it was handcut dovetails joints :)

The lack of noise when using only hand tools can be underated sometimes, it was nice for a change.

A throwback to this beauty of a feature wall.

Barn board was from a Saskatchewan barrack. The tree is made from Douglas fir, holding 4 bottles and 4 wine glasses.

Another wine holder made from Sapele, holding 8 bottles as well as a custom sign made from oak and bloodwood.
