It's official! Parliament has just given its approval of a bill to make November 15th National Philanthropy Day® (NPD)!
Canada is the first country to permanently recognize National
Philanthropy Day since its creation in 1986. With the passage of this bill, Canada has taken a leadership role in global philanthropy.
The recognition underscores the importance of philanthropy in Canada and how involved Canadians have become in supporting charitable causes across the country.
