Meet Don, the inventor of the KA Caddy. Don is from Kelowna, BC. He prefers to make his bread using his KitchenAid® mixer but found that the mixer was heavy and cumbersome to take out of his pantry and to move around his kitchen. Each time he had to lift it, carry it and move it around the countertop he thought - there must be a better way. So being a little stubborn and a little inventive, he went to his basement and designed a wooden tray with fabric on the bottom to fit under his mixer. The wooden tray made it so easy to lift, carry and move the mixer… and to make his bread. That was over 12 years ago. He was surprised to find there still was nothing commercially available to solve this simple problem. So, he took his original wooden tray design and developed a lighter, more modern tray - the caddy. Pictured here is the evolution of the Canadian made KA Caddy. www.kacaddy.com
