Mount frosty is a fantastic hike! I'd highly recommend checking out. It has amazing views and locations to camp!

I must've driven passed this mountain hundreds of times in my life. I never knew its name, but it never wavered as my favourite peak on the Coquihalla. Now that I'm older, I had the chance to stop my car, and finally take a photo properly showing off its incredible . No other on the carries similar characteristics as Zopkios Peak. Its steep rock face, surrounded by trees is a one-of-a-kind on this car ride.

Had a fantastic trip exploring the alpine meadows in Manning park. I can say for certain that backpacking with camera gear is hard but well worth it. Prepare for more amazing photos from this incredible hike!

If you get the chance to go backpacking, bring a small notebook and write down your memories because that’s what I did and I’m lucky to go and relive those memories whenever I want. It’s fun to see what I was thinking about and the little details that I don’t remember.

Have you ever seen larches? Larches are a rare tree in BC that have lived upwards of 2000 years 😱 You can find these trees in Princeton or some popular trails in Manning park, like Mount Frosty! Most of the year they are green until a short 2 week window opens in the fall and their needles turn yellow, creating a beautiful scene.
