We are hiring for a client who manufactures wood structures in Abbotsford, BC. This is an entry-level labor role where you will be helping out in different areas of the shop.

If you are looking to start a career in woodworking or carpentry our client will help you move into an apprenticeship role and acquire hours.

Job Duties:

- Wrapping pallets

- putting poly on stacks of wood

- Labeling the pallets

- Clean-up

- Putting insulation into wood panels (very light), repetitive job - will do 100-1000 in a day.

- Shovel and rake sawdust outside in the yard

- Stack off-cuts on a pallet in the yard

- Strap, wrap and label these pallets

Requirements:

- 6+ months of labor/warehouse/construction experience

- Steel Toe Work Boots

- Willing to learn

Shifts:

Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:30PM

Monday to Thursday 4:30PM - 3:00AM

Wage:

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour (Based on position and shift premium)

1.50/hr. Premium for the afternoon shift.

Our client is a 3PL distributor and is looking for a key individual to join their warehouse team. This person will be responsible for the following:

LOCATION:

Gloucester, Aldergrove, BC

WAGE:

$23/hr.

SHIFT:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

JOB DUTIES:

Driving a stand-up forklift
Unloading/ loading-trucks: 2-4 trucks a day
Building pallets
Labelling product
Driving Sit-down Counterbalance forklift
Order picking, 50 orders a day
Lifting 50 lbs. 10-20x a day

MUST-HAVES:

Must be open to learning new tasks and willing to help in all areas
6+ months FL experience
1+ years of general warehouse experience
Proficient English language
Able to do basic math (receiving orders)
Comfortable using computers
Lift up to 50 lbs.

NICE TO HAVES:

Crown equipment experience
Experience with RF and labelling (WMS - 3pl central)
