🌟 Professional Development Day at LRCCC 🌟

As part of ECE Appreciation Month, the team at La Ronge Child Care Cooperative recently came together for a day focused on learning, collaboration, and connection. 💛

Staff participated in professional development sessions on topics including communication, documentation, experience planning based on children’s interests, and teamwork within our centres.

The day also gave educators time to connect with one another through team-building activities and a shared meal together.

At LRCCC, we value opportunities for our team to learn, grow, and support one another, because we believe strong teams help create more meaningful experiences for children and families we serve.

Your patience, kindness, creativity, and dedication help shape strong foundations for our youngest learners. From comforting little ones, to encouraging curiosity, to creating safe and welcoming spaces, the work you do is truly invaluable.

Early Childhood Educators are more than teachers — you are mentors, nurturers, role models, and champions for children.

THE LRCCC BOARD OF DIRECTORS IS NOW RECRUITING!

We are seeking volunteers with diverse perspectives and encourage anyone with an interest in the daycare and its impact to apply - parents, grandparents, and community members alike.

No previous Board experience is required, just a genuine interest in strengthening the care we provide and a willingness to contribute.

This is your opportunity to help guide key decisions, represent your community, and support long-term success. With a strong management team in place, the Board focuses on high-level strategy, oversight, and accountability. Exciting changes on the horizon also mean opportunities to take on greater involvement and help shape what comes next.

Time commitment is approximately 4-5 hours per month, including one in-person meeting and occasional external communication.
