β‘οΈ Full ROM band assisted dips
Some key take aways to consider...
β‘οΈ Use the same technique between two chairs if you do not have a set of rings
β‘οΈ Start in a locked out arm position
β‘οΈ Lower yourself to at least a 90 degree elbow bend before pushing yourself back up.
β‘οΈ Keep elbows tight to your side during the entire movement.
β‘οΈLook forward, keep shoulders down and back as you lower.
All of this will help you build the motor patterns required to perform strong future dips at your best.
Train smart.
Be consistent.

Bullying is hurting our kids.
Kids who are bullied are hurting and the kids who bully are hurting too.
They are all in pain.
Wearing a pink shirt one day isn't enough (speaking to myself as well). We need to stand up for ourselves and others and educate all of our youth on both sides of the issue.
I was a victim of bullying at different stages of my life and I didn't realize how much it affected me until later in adulthood.
I remember sitting against the wall, beside the door of the classroom. I had descent grades in this class but anytime I rose to the occasion of an excellent grade, my teacher knocked me down. He never believed I was smart enough to get 80s and above. One time he threw his eraser at me calling me stupid and I'll admit, to this very day I sometimes have to remind myself I am not...
Bullying is not a simple bump in the road in childhood anymore. It's an epidemic that needs attention.
Let's make a difference before our differences breaks us.
Can you REALLY squat? π€
I saw a post a while back from about tempo paused squats so with today's excitement of the gym opening, I gave it a shot.
My entire workout was within this 1 set π€―
Slow squats will give you all the feedback you need to improve your squat. You can feel every single part of your body working to control the movement. It also allows you to make real time adjustments and man, your core stability is tested too.
Thank you Dr. Aaron Horschig for pulverizing my legs in one set but also for your enormous amount of helpful knowledge. You never said do it with 220lbs but I really appreciate what you do.
For those who are still waiting for the gyms to open, hang in there.
