Sometimes life has other plans 🤍

With a very full heart, I am sharing that I will be closing the clinic earlier than anticipated and will be on leave effective immediately until the fall.

I truly love being in practice. Serving this community and caring for each of you individually has been such a gift. I often talk about making your health goals a priority — and now it is my turn to prioritize my own health and the health of my baby.

I will miss you all dearly. I had hoped to continue on your health journeys with you a little longer, and I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

I will be returning to practice on September 14, 2026, and online booking will reopen in August for the fall season.

If you have any concerns while I am on maternity leave, please feel free to reach out by phone or email at [email protected].

Thank you for trusting me with your care. This community means more to me than you know. I look forward to seeing you again in the fall 🤍

✨ Is your baby’s head shape a concern? ✨

Many parents notice their little one developing a flat spot on the head (often called flat head syndrome or plagiocephaly) or that their baby prefers to look only one way (sometimes due to torticollis – a tightening in the neck muscles).

👶 A little flatness can be common, especially in the early months. But if you notice:
✔️ Flattening on one side of the head that isn’t improving
✔️ Baby always turning their head the same way
✔️ Difficulty lifting or turning their head
✔️ Asymmetry in the face or ears

…it may be worth looking into further.

💆‍♀️ Pediatric osteopathy can help support babies with gentle, non-invasive techniques to encourage comfort, mobility, and balanced growth.

Goodbye Skeleton Pheobe! We will miss you!

Thank you to everyone who loved our skeleton as much as we did! I know she brightened my day and I hope she did yours too.

Unfortunately, as we were getting ready to put out her Valentine’s Day decor she was vandalized at 4:30 am on Sunday Jan 5.

Thank you to the community who appreciated her. Many people would tell us about how she made them smile and many people stopped to take photos with her. I especially loved all the delivery drivers stopping to do a double take then proceed to take photos. I know both children and adults in the clinic thought she was fun. Especially those who were in on the joke. She was our osteopathy mascot! Thank you to all the children who wrote her letters.

And of course, thank you for the support and sympathies from everyone in person and through dms.

We called her Pheobe Phalange but I know she went by many names such as Skelee, Mr. Bones or even skeleton house.

Unfortunately, she was pretty banged up ( her arm and leg are smashed) and her frame is bent. She was discontinued in 2024 so we sadly will not be able to replace her.

The clinic will still continue to run but please be aware our Skeleton landmark will no longer be in front of the clinic.
