Rudy recently strained his hip flexor while swimming and playing on the beach. He is already improving but we want to make sure he fully recovers and doesn't re-injure it further. We are going to use laser and massage to help with the healing process of the muscle tissue. Rudy also has some stretching and stability exercises to work on that will aid in his recovery and prevent muscle loss. Rudy was the best boy during his assessment and deserved all the treats!

Stella was a very good girl during her assessment with CanineTech Rehab! Stella has a mild partial tear of her CCL. She is not showing any signs of pain or limitations but her owners want to be proactive in her care. We are going to work on strength and stability in her hind legs as well as improving her gait pattern and awareness of her hind end. We want to try to avoid further tearing of the CCL and slow any degenerative changes in her knee. Stella was a willing participant in her exercises, as long as treats were provided!

Reggie's owners are being proactive in his mobility and health as he ages. Reggie is 9 and is starting to show some signs of his age, such as a little more difficulty jumping into the car. Reggie's owners are firm believers in physio and thus wanted to get him checked out to see if there were are problems they could work on and help him with through the aging process. Reggie has some mild arthritis and degenerative changes that are causing some stiffness in his spine and hips. He now has an exercise program to help maintain his mobility and strength. Reggie was a very good boy and was very keen to do his exercises when there was food involved!

Cali has joined the CanineTech Rehab pack! Cali has stopped jumping up on furniture and doesn't want to stretch her back legs. Cali has intervertebral disc disease in her lumbar spine causing pain in her back as well as mild nerve irritation. She is avoiding jumping and extending in her back to prevent pain. We are going to work on decreasing her pain and improving the mobility in her spine and pelvis. This will make Cali more comfortable and hopefully get her back to cuddling on the couch with her humans!

This is Rosie, our most recent graduate from CanineTech Rehab!
Rosie's owners originally reached because she was experiencing pain and lameness in her left hindlimb. She had lost a lot of strength through her left hip following surgery on her knee.
Rosie has gained a lot of her strength and stability back around her left hip and no longer has pain or weakness when moving around.
At first, Rosie was very nervous. But, over the course of her rehab, Rosie became a lot more comfortable and did amazing with her treatments!
Great job Rosie!
