So here’s a post on what not to do!
For anyone that thinks essential oils don’t work this is proof of how powerful they really are! I was taking a skin issue into my own hands “seriously this time” so I put 1 drop of Oregano on a bandaid instead of just applying and letting the air get to it. I did it for two days in a row (off at night) and could feel the burning sensation (especially when I got it wet washing my hands, dishes, etc) but I thought it was burning off the part I wanted gone...was I ever wrong! The entire patch covered by the band aid was burning it seems except for the part I wanted gone! Now it’s time to use the lavender lotion to do some restoration work!!

August Newsletter in pieces since it wasn't in a format I could post (I'm not tech savvy to figure it out easily)...Where has the summer gone?! I can't believe we're already almost through with August and I'm really behind in posting this month!
After being a vendor at a Dog Show last month I was very much intrigued to find out more about mainly essential oil use and pets since there seems to be some controversy out there about using essential oils with pets. Since the oils are absorbed through the hair follicles and obviously dogs and cats, even more densely, have lots of those they are definitely more sensitive to the use of oils. It's important to do your own research about dilution ratios for your type of pet but let it be known that essential oils are just as beneficial for the non human members of your household as they are for us.
I'm so grateful to one of my Young Living team members, Chloe, for putting this newsletter together for me since she loves pets and I've never had more than a few fish & amphibians during my childhood.
