Ivy Inspired

It's been a long time since I last posted, and a lot has shifted since then. I’ve mostly shared small pieces of life through stories, and Instagram has become my quieter space but recently someone on my personal Facebook said they’d been wondering how I was doing since they hadn’t seen me post in a while, and that little message was what finally nudged me to write this.

The last couple of years have brought a big change for me, especially with work. I moved from lab work into navigating the healthcare system (and really, so much more than just healthcare). It’s been challenging in ways I didn’t expect, and also really meaningful. Some days I feel steady in what I’m doing, and other days I’m still learning as I go. Both have shaped me.

I’m incredibly grateful for the people I work with and the support around me, they make the heavy days feel lighter and remind me why this work matters. This job has changed how I see the world, and it’s changed me too.

These photos feel like a small snapshot of that time: me and my fur babies, a few memories from the Netherlands and Iceland that I never shared, and honestly some pictures of myself that I actually like, which feels important to say out loud.

Life has looked different, a little quieter online, but still very full. I don’t know how often I’ll post, but I wanted to share this moment and say hi 🤍

Made some chicken Alfredo. Funny story, I've had it before but I've never actually cooked it myself until about a month and a half ago. Trying different sauces but I think the next time I make it I'm going to try and make the sauce from scratch. Pretty pumped to have left overs!
