WHAT TO EXPECT AHEAD OF MAT PILATES @ THE SWEAT BOX 🤩🙏⚡️🙌

🕯️A SLOW BURN🕯️Pilates is based on controlled movement. Connect breath to motion, feel each degree of your repetition, and embrace the less is more attitude. Prepare for intention through each degree of movement.

👙👚🧦 LAYER UP🧦👚👙due to the slow nature, get dressed with intentions of taking off pieces slowly. If you like to wear shorts, come with sweat pants on over top. A sweater, so you can strip down to the tank top as class heats up 💦🥵🔥

👣 CONNECTED BASE👣 No shoes are required. Your choice of socks or bare feet will encourage a stable foundation and help you grip your matt

🧘‍♀️SOFTEN DOWN🧘‍♀️ Bring your own yoga mat to the studio for your practice. Protect your joints and soften your experience with a piece of home.

👏🏼GET IT WHILE YOU CAN👏🏼 For a limited time, Pilates will be included in your Sweat Box membership. Enjoy a small class of 12 participants for 4 weeks, hosted at 7pm on Thursday nights in April, beginning April 2nd.

This low impact workout demands a fresh, unfatigued body, so we recommend choosing either Pilates or Barbell on a given day, and skipping the double header.
