Our client is looking for a Shop Labourer

We are currently seeking a Shop Labourer/Assistant who will offer support to the overall operation of the company, especially as it relates to inventory and job set-up. This role requires a team-minded individual with strong organizational, communication and customer service skills.
· Cataloging and maintaining records of stock consumables, parts and materials

· Planning/Picking of job tool orders

· Some clerical work

· Assists with tasks for various projects as assigned

· Assists with increasing team efficiency by supporting the crew both operationally and administratively

· Record keeping/filing

· Miscellaneous other duties as assigned

· Pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts

· Shop duties involving workspace organization and cleaning

Safety:

· Required to wear appropriate PPE while on company sites

· Required to follow all safety requirements as per safety policies

-Vision to become a Millwright apprentice
· Exceptional computer skills and program knowledge (Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Word, Excel)

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Proven reliability

· Willingness to learn new concepts and technologies

· Possess a valid Driver’s License (G Class) and be able to provide a “clean” driver’s abstract

· You are commercially insurable under the fleet insurance (minimum age 25)

· Acquired knowledge of fastening hardware and the ability to identify hand tools

· Have experience in a shop environment and/or trades environment (1-2 years considered an asset but not a must)

· A team player with a vibrant and positive attitude

· Effectively carry out oral and/or printed work instructions

· Demonstrate excellent English communication skills both written and verbal

· Are able to work well with others, are coachable and have proof that you are a self-starting individual with a go-getter attitude

· Show commitment and reliability to your duties and demonstrate a healthy “want to learn” style to professionally succeed, learn and grow

· Possess strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills

Location: Cambridge

$19/hr to start

Our client is looking for a salesperson.

The ideal candidate must have previous sales experience in the transportation industry, and be able to work independently, manage time, and work efficiently.

To succeed in this role, you must generate new business through a variety of prospecting and development techniques, including cold calling and making appointments. Other responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships through regular contact, participating in face to face meetings, extensive knowledge of the services we offer, and the ability to identify customer’s needs. Weekly sales reports will be required.

Our client is looking for a Material Handler

-operate forklift, hand truck and overhead crane

-load and unload goods

-attach slings, ropes and cables

-inspect machinery and equipment

-move freight and other materials to and from storage, loading docks, delivery vehicles and containers

-load and unload items fro machines and conveyors

-1 year lift truck and overhead crane experience required

Location: Kitchener

$20-$26/hr

Day and night shift available
