Challenging discrimination requires self-reflection and a commitment to action. In this workshop, we will discuss the impacts of discrimination and assess strategies for intervening in incidences of discrimination.

Upon completion of this workshop, you will be able to:

✔️Define discrimination and its various impacts
✔️Explain the relationship between prejudice and discrimination
✔️Develop strategies to challenge discrimination

Before a conflict can be resolved, it must be critically analyzed to determine what factors are driving the conflict. In this workshop, students will participate in a negotiation simulation and practice communication strategies with the goal of making conflicts productive; that is, to approach conflicts as opportunities for growth.
