We are saddened to see the recent increase in hate directed to the Muslim community both in online and offline spaces.

Found in a Kitchener neighbourhood, were reported to CMW last week. A formal report to WRPS has been made. We urge a full investigation on this matter, including hate motivations.

We know that hateful incidents like this have about doubled in recent months in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. We urge all leaders to condemn this trend and to work with community members on a real path forward.
