March had the first decrease in active listings in over 4 years. Unit sales were also up nearly 20% from last year... the first significant increase in YoY sales in 4 years as well. Inventory is declining... sales are increasing... prices have remained stable but we are getting close to a balanced market place and prices should start to edge upwards slightly starting soon. Prices have levelled and stabilized in most of the province but have had recent pronounced decreases in cottage country with high levels of inventory and low demand (down 12% YoY).
