⚡️ You've already taken the first step toward keeping your stuff fresh since you are reading this post. Everyone knows from experience what can be found after doing the laundry. To be honest, that may not be the most pleasant thing. The worst is an unpleasant odour.
What can it be? 👇

🎯 If you feel the musty smell coming from the washing machine, it is probably coming from the rubber gasket. Don’t worry, it can be removed and cleaned.
⚙Check the tray where you pour the detergent, bleach or conditioner. Sometimes you may find mould there (not the nicest thing).

🧨 Pay attention to the washing machine door. Using a vinegar solution, remove any deposits that have accumulated on the inside of your washing machine door.
⚙ Check your drain plug and filter. The drain plug and filter are usually located on the bottom of the machine. Using a small bowl, remove the drain plug cover and drain out all the liquid. Then unscrew the filter and rinse it with hot soapy water.
⚙ Clean the drum. Pour some vinegar into the laundry compartment, select the tank cleaning cycle and wait for the cycle to complete. But not all washing machines have this cycle. Contamination can't be avoided, but it can be prevented and the onset can be slowed down.

⚡️ Our tips :

🧨 Leave the door open or ajar. To prevent the growth of mould, mildew and get rid of nasty odours, it's best to leave the washing machine door open or ajar after each wash until the washer is completely dry.
🧨 Keep the soap dish holder open. You may notice standing water or moisture in the soap dish; to prevent mold and mildew growth, you need to drain off excess water and keep the soap dish holder open between uses.
🧨 Clean your washer once a month to keep it fresh and prevent mold growth.
Clean the drain plug and filter once a month.
Do not use too much liquid/powder.
