Sporting a pair of our disposable sunglasses afterwards, here is a special visitor who experienced her first dilated eye exam. Dilating drops are often used to explore the power of the eye and potential need for eyeglasses in children. Eye exams are recommended for all children typically starting at 6months of age and yearly thereafter. Notably, the Ontario Association of Optometrists Eye See Eye Learn program provides a free pair of glasses to children in JK/SK who need them.
