Celebrate the Strawberry Moon with us this June by creating your own Beaded Strawberry Earrings as part of our cultural programming! 🍓

The Strawberry Moon marks the time when the first berries ripen and is known as a time for reconciliation, making difficult decisions, and facing responsibilities. Join us as we honour this teaching through a fun and seasonal beading workshop.

We would like to thank the Waterloo Region Community Garden Network for their generous donation of various seeds to our Eminidowang Kiitigan, the “Spirit Garden for Everyone” 🌱

These seeds will help us grow fresh produce that supports over 600 First Nations, Inuit, and Métis families through our Spirit Bundle program, while also helping us continue reconnecting community with the land.

With planting season beginning, we’re also looking for volunteers to help us get these seeds into the ground. If you’re interested in volunteering, please reach out to us at [email protected] or call (519) 208-5333 to learn more.

Miigwech to the Waterloo Region Community Garden Network for supporting this work and helping our garden grow. Stay tuned to see how these plants turn out on our farm!
