To continue on with crystals that represent love for February, I have rose quartz for you today. It's probably one of the best known pink crystals.

According to , rose quartz is the very essence of unconditional love.

When you see your own inner beauty, rose quartz can inspire more self-acceptance. It can give you a genuine appreciation for yourself

Properties - calm, confidence, happiness, love, passion, personal growth

I love the soft, subtle vibe of rose quartz. I used to be quite a pink person in my youth. As a young adult, I turned away from pink. It's been making a comeback in my life over the last few years

I believe part of that is because pink represents all things love - self-love to be more specific.

The last few years have been a journey to find myself again. To put myself first, at least once in a while. Rose quartz represents all of that for me.

And can I just express how much I love my rose quartz goddess body? It took me a while to find one with this beautiful body shape. She is one of my favourite pieces (although as I do more of these, I think I'll say that phrase often, LOL).

I remember where most of my many pieces have come from and I should shout that out - I'm not sure if all the places are still operating though.

News flash - you can now find a selection of my bracelets in Waterloo! I'm going to be checking out some of the services they offer too - starting with a Reiki session.

They offer so many different things for your mind, body and spirit. Physio, massage, acupuncture along with intuitive readings, Reiki, EFT, holistic nutrition and so much more. So many options for a little self-care.

I'm starting with Reiki because it kept coming up for me in various places - from a medium telling me I should look into it, to people I'd just meet either telling me I should explore it or them actually being Reiki practitioners. It just kept appearing. So first things first - having a session so I can improve my understanding of what it is. Then - who knows? Maybe I'll take a course on it myself. You never know where life might lead you when you open your heart and mind to possibilities!

Since my creative space currently has a beautiful Christmas tree in it, I've decided I needed to do some knitting to keep my mind and hands busy. Some dishcloths - finished and in progress. While I have done some bigger knitting projects, dishcloths are always satisfying because it only takes about an hour to get a finished product. And if you have to wash dishes by hand, there's nothing better than a knit dishcloth to do it with.

Next project is going to be a scarf to match my coat. I'm not so good at hats and mitts, but I can knit the heck out of a scarf, LOL. then probably back to more dishcloths

Maybe I'll even start on the blanket I bought the yarn for years ago for Jordan. It's probably about time I started it, I've had the yarn for at least 5 years....😳
