I had a really good site super when I worked in the field in construction and one day I was late coming in for break and he said:
“The work will always be there tomorrow, so always stop and enjoy some rest today.”
Always remember that…
There’s always a fix for everything…
Someone screwed up the grading plan and the builder eventually ripped this out and ended up having to push the sidewalks out closer to the street to reduce the slope up to the houses.
Always doublecheck things like slopes and grading to make sure they are good before you start building.
