Neal Stephenson’s 1992 cyberpunk classic 𝑆𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝐶𝑟𝑎𝑠ℎ is one of the most popular sci-fi books of all time. This fun and stylish dystopian novel popularized using term 𝑎𝑣𝑎𝑡𝑎𝑟 for online virtual bodies, inspired Google Earth, and conceptualized the Metaverse. It even made Time magazine’s list of 100 all-time best English-language novels. Brilliant.
