⚾ GMBA Weather Update – Tuesday, July 14

🌤️ All 7U and up games and practices are a GO this evening.

T-Ball (Jr. & Sr.) is at the discretion of parents. Please do what you feel is best for your child.

With the warm temperatures expected:
💧 Drink plenty of water before, during, and after baseball.
🧊 Bring extra water to the diamond.
🧢 Wear a hat, apply sunscreen, and take breaks as needed.

Due to the rain and current diamond conditions all House League games and practices are cancelled today, Thursday, July 9th.

Due to the current field conditions from yesterdays rain and the extreme heat today, all GMBA House League games and practices scheduled for this evening have been cancelled.

The safety of our players, coaches, umpires, volunteers, and families is always our top priority.

☀️ Heat Wave Reminder ☀️

With hot weather in the forecast, we’d like to remind all GMBA families of our Heat Policy.

⚾ Please note: Decisions regarding games and practices are based on the temperature (including the humidex) at the scheduled start time of your game or practice—not the temperatures earlier in the day. Conditions can change quickly, so we monitor the forecast as close to game time as possible.

Please help your player be prepared by:

💧 Bringing plenty of water
🧴 Applying sunscreen before arriving
🧢 Wearing appropriate clothing
⛱️ Speaking up if they’re feeling unwell

Our coaches will provide extra water breaks and adjust activities as needed based on GMBA’s Heat Policy. If temperatures reach levels that require cancellations, families will be notified as soon as possible.

As always, parents and guardians know their children best and have the final decision on whether they participate.
