Stainsational Recreations

It has been awhile since I had a chance to work on some new pieces. This cabinet is one of my favourites. Bought it at an auction for a client and designed it to fit into a space. The wood was beautiful and the only flaw, was the design in the front glass was broken and I had to make a piece to fit and fix it. Also had to replace the glass. (I broke it). Super happy with it and so is the client.

This is another piece I bought and again, when I got it, it needed some work, so I stripped it down to the wood and started from scratch. I am enjoying doing the free-hand sketches on them. Something I have never tried before. The first picture is what I picked up. I then painted and did the drawers etc. in a solid and although I really liked it, I thought it too pristine for the age of the piece, so I tried the last version.

Finally after a few design changes and more power tools. The newest in the fleet of unique, vintage radio’s. For Sale!

I finally was able to find an old TV and had a lot of fun working on it. I had ordered some specific items for it, but they didn’t come in time, so I had to use what I had on hand but was very happy how it turned out. This is currently for sale $550.
