Anyone else had crowds of ants and spiders in their homes recently?! The ants especially have been everywhere so I was a woman on a mission to get them out. These are 3 ways I have found have helped 🙌🏼 1. Fill a spray bottle half way with water and add 20 drops of peppermint oil. Spiders and insects dislike the smell of peppermint so spray this around windows and doors to keep them out. 2. Fruit flies dislike the smell of white vinegar so put a small bowl of it near your fruit to keep them away. I add a few drops of eucalyptus oil to mask the smell of white vinegar but this isn’t necessary. 3. Adding 10 drops of orange oil, water and a few drops of dish washing liquid to your spray mop is another way to keep crawling insects away too. If you have a mop and bucket then add a tsp dish washing liquid and 20 drops of orange oil to a gallon of warm water. *Please always research which essential oils you can use if you have pets..#cleaningtips #cleaningmotivation #cleaningaccount #cleaninghacks #lifehacks 05/15/2024

Add 5-10 drops of peppermint or tea tree oil to a cup of water in a spray bottle and spray around your windows and doors to deter the insects - they dislike the smell of both of these oils! 2. Add the recommended dose of orange oil to the water for your particular mop. I use a Vileda spray mop so I added 15-20 drops - again insects dislike this scent but for us it’s not too over powering like peppermint and tea tree so it’s perfect for larger surfaces like your floors! 🍊3. Dot cinnamon sticks around your home - spiders also dislike the smell of cinnamon so I was quick to pop one on my bedside table!
