This summer, our team has been hard at work on active construction projects, emergency restoration efforts, and ongoing sediment monitoring. We are a committed crew, driven by the goal of enhancing and protecting shorelines throughout the Interior of BC.

Summer Fieldwork Series Part 3: Construction and Emergency Restoration

In this installment, we're spotlighting two very different construction projects that reflect our ongoing commitment to protecting lakeside environments. By restoring and reinforcing these unique shorelines, we’re supporting local ecosystems and preserving these natural spaces for the future.

At Downie RV Park north of Revelstoke, BC, we showcase the culmination of years of comprehensive design and collaboration to meet provincial permitting requirements. We’re also sharing the work in progress from a smaller emergency repair at Kinsmen Park in Kelowna, where we addressed sinkholes that had developed behind a retaining wall.

Each project is a step toward more resilient, sustainable shoreline infrastructure.
