Some days our teams will do the same job day in and day out and then the phone rings and everything changes. A tragic incident took place in northern BC closing a main bridge to all commercial traffic on the Alaska Highway. With less then a days notice our team was on site pulling concrete samples for the team of engineers to examine. Our team of professionals did a fantastic job and we thank them for going above what is required of them. We would also like to thank WSP for this opportunity and to Cyclone Diamond for being able to supply multiple sizes of new drill bits shipped to FSJ the same day.

Spent some time in the field with one of the first pieces of equipment Kam tech started with. This gem has seen a lot of testing but thanks to great maintenance and yearly calibrations it is always ready to be put to work. Spent the day helping a contractor make sure they were meeting all required specifications. The project turned out fantastic.

The newest addition to the fleet of trailers is almost complete. The first piece of equipment was installed today. Shout out to Aino for her amazing work on the project. I know she has a few extra little touches she has planned for this lab and I’m excited to see what project team is going to be lucky enough to work in this gem.

We are not just an asphalt testing facility. Our expertise have expanded into the direction of concrete and with the help of some of our great clients the transition into the concrete side of Quality Management has been an amazing venture. KTQM has been certified for testing concrete for a few years and the increase in the amount of testing has allowed us to hire additional certified staff. Thanks to everyone for helping us grow.
