On Friday was our walk day. We had a most amazing interaction with a man he calls himself Paul. Paul has the most amazing garden!! He told the children why he builds in the large tires and than he offered us lettuce and cherries to eat and even a sunflower to plant.
On the rest of our walk we saw a hawk catch a fish and carry it away. Just at the front of park we also saw 2 sick trees that we discovered. It's something called pine gall.
Of course we ate the cherries later and the lettuce is for next week and Michelle Asante is trying to save the sunflower plant. As the heat was too much for it.
All in all its an amazing time to see the community and talk with them...oh and people really loved our orange hats!!

On Thursday last week, the Saskatoon berries took a short walk to the basketball court to play with flyers and bouncy balls. This is our favourite place to hang out and run and interact with our classmates.
