It was an honour teaching the members of 💃🏻 Ballet Folklorico Aztlan .mexico 🕺🏽🇲🇽
We explored traditional west African and Afro Caribbean styles. I was so impressed by the energy ⚡️they put into embodying the movements. They embraced the earthy, percussive, elements that were strong contrast to other Mexican styles they were used to.

After a long break from teaching in person, it felt so good to be in community again sharing my passion for dance. My heart was touched by the positive feedback of the great experiences they shared 🥰

I’m thankful to all the gifted teachers that I have learned from over the years. Spanning from Brazil to Cuba, Haiti, Colombia, various parts of Africa beyond. The rich teachings run deep and made a huge impression on me. I’m beyond grateful to connect with other passionate dancers and share the beauty, power and healing energy of these movements . 🙏✨
