Sending off our Cadillac LYRIQ to the final competition of the EcoCAR EV Challenge is a moment filled with both excitement and a bit of nostalgia.
Over the past four years, this vehicle has been more than just a platform—it’s been the foundation for countless hours of innovation, problem-solving, and collaboration across our team. From early design decisions to the integration of advanced features, every milestone has shaped not only the vehicle, but the people behind it.
As it heads to its final competition, we’re incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished and grateful for the support from our sponsors, mentors, and partners who made it all possible.

We caught up with Dusan, a third-year Mechatronics student and CAVs team member, to hear about his journey on the McMaster EcoCAR team. It is always great to connect with the people driving the team's innovation forward! CAVs is especially important in this year of the competition, and we are excited to showcase their hard work more!
