What to Wear for Outdoor Family Photo Sessions 🍃📸

Outfit planning doesn’t have to be stressful! A few simple choices can make your photos feel timeless and natural.

✔️ Stick to soft, neutral tones
Creams, tans, browns, muted greens, soft blues, rust, and mustard photograph beautifully outdoors.

✔️ Coordinate, don’t match
Choose colours that work together instead of everyone wearing the same thing. This adds depth and keeps photos from looking stiff.

✔️ Layers add magic
Cardigans, denim jackets, vests, scarves — layers add interest and give us flexibility during your session.

✔️ Skip bold logos & busy patterns
They pull attention away from faces and connection.

✔️ Comfort is key (especially for kids!)
If they can move, play, and feel good — it shows in the photos.

✔️ Shoes matter too
Neutral boots, clean sneakers, or barefoot (weather permitting) photograph best.
