I’m glad I made the right choice to attend the Radio Broadcasting program at Humber Polytechnic, even though the COVID-19 pandemic changed everything for us when I was in the program. Some have got to move on to great things, & some are still waiting for their breakout moment. Keep in mind, it will happen. When I read online that Humber College has told faculty & students that 2026 will mark the final graduating class from its Broadcasting Radio program, as it suspends the program after more than 50 years. All I thought was No way?! I owe everything to that program, where I wanted to make it official in becoming a radio announcer. I will have so many great memories from meeting students & being taught by legendary professors, getting to interview legends in the business like & & getting to meet new upcoming artists like , Myrriah Xochitl, & Sarah Dee of . Thank you, Radio Humber, for being the radio station that helped pave & helped people in their careers.
