We can’t believe Bike Month is nearing its end already.

We wanted to take a moment to recap our inaugural Free Ride Day, presented by , which took place this past June 7th. We were delighted to see so much support of this initiative both online and in person in the community.

Sunday, June 7th was the perfect day for this promotion as it allowed even more folks to explore Open Streets by and Bike for Mike, hosted by .

Compared to averages from the same day over the past 3 years, on June 7th we saw a 298% increase in new signups, a 210% increase in the average length of each trip, a 123% increase in the total kilometres covered and a 59% increase in trips logged.

Free Ride Day was a success in providing new folks the opportunity to ride for the first time, and enabling new and old riders alike to extend their typical ride and ride longer!
