The Day this picture was taken 70 year old Don Ewen was so proud! He got dressed in his suit and asked his daughter Jill to take his picture. Don always talked about his life in war times. He sent home so many things like
Parachutes, canteens, nap-sacks, empty bomb shells, and German helmets. But the most important thing he sent home the letters to Doris the love of his life. Some with lines blacked out 🤷‍♂️ And dozens of pictures of his friends and army barracks. What an amazing life. Today we think of you Don! Thank you for your service.
