There is always a way to make a difference. I do my best to "pay forward" as of friend of mine always says. So I have made these vases for Mother's Day, they are called, "Vases Of Love". They are not a part of my ongoing sale but they are for a worthy cause. The Dolly Parton Foundation (Canada). Many years ago, Dolly began to send out Books to kids in her State, now her program is in many countries including Canada. A child receives a book a month for the first 5 years of their life. It has been proven that children in the program, enter school with a greater understanding of the world, and a higher comprehension. How can we not want this for our kids? For only $350.00 for 5 years, I am surprised that the government is not jumping all over this and supporting every child in the country with this program. (There, that's my rant for the day). Please come out to the Pottery and support this worthwhile cause. And by the way, a portion of the sales of the Vases will also go to assist a young girl who has a learning disability get Counselling.
