The recent heat wave nearly killed me so I've decided to will it to be winter by pretending it is winter. Just kidding, summer is still okay in my books. I'm just promoting the cables class coming up.

Cables are those wavy weavy bits in the fabric! There are so many variations on this one technique, as you can see from how different they look on my "collar" (i.e. dickie) versus on Tracy's cardigan. You can learn all about it on Sunday, August 22 1 pm to 4 pm.

If you put holes in your knitting accidentally, take the Fixing Mistakes class. If you want to put holes in your knitting on purpose, take Lace 101 on Sunday July 5 1 pm to 4 pm with our resident lace wiz Matt!

It is a diversely applicable skill you can use across a variety of projects! It can be simple like in the garments I'm wearing or pretty complex like in that bandana Matt knit.
