I should take my own advice more often…

Sometimes we forget we are human. We win, we lose, we live and most importantly we learn. We learn how to not repeat history to avoid future disappointment, yet find ourselves disappointed each and every time. Does that mean that all we do in life is disappoint, lose, and fail? No. It means that we are human.

Humans are meant to fail, sometimes FAIL HARD. And that’s okay. It’s okay to mess up, it’s okay to find your days getting ahead of you, it’s okay to constantly go through some annoying/repetitive issue that is more annoying than the sound of a fly, buzzing around your ear, and you can’t move fast enough to swat it away.

What is not okay, is to remain stagnant in the situation you are in and beat yourself up for it, when you should be moving forward with it. Use your present situation as pressure that makes you into the diamond that you cannot see now, but will become in the future. Use your present situation as ingredients that whips up a meal that tastes like the best version of future self.

Your present situation is part of YOUR story, that can only be written by YOU.

Will you finish your story? Or, will you leave it incomplete?

Although the Post-Secondary System has its flaws, I know I would not be the man I am today without pursuing a higher education. From the courses I took, the people I’ve met, and the lessons I’ve learned (Pun intended), I have manually and thoroughly chipped away poor habits, reactive mindsets, lazy rituals, and inconsistent actions. I have met individuals that I will love and cherish by my side, while at the same time, embarking on a journey of self-improvement.

With less than a year to go of my Automation Engineering Bachelors degree, I have finally found my groove in taping into a work ethic, in and out of school, that leads me to having more proactive days while simultaneously understanding the importance of taking care of my one and only temple…my body

Time to finish this degree off strong!

Less than one year to go…

Although I found myself starting off this semester, rather slower than usual, hence the lack of recording of time lapses/workouts/writing poetry lol…I had a great opportunity to reset myself mentally throughout this reading week. Every week, I will always find myself feeling a step behind, missing something, or not feeling like I did enough work; but mark my words when I say that the hunger to accomplish all of my goals and finally wrap up my bachelors degree this 2023 academic/calendar year, is like no another.

Hoping for a more proactive 1st week of March 💰📚
