Peru has been recognized as the “World’s Leading Culinary Destination” multiple times, including 11 times in the past 13 years. Specifically, they’ve won this award in the World Travel Awards from 2012 to 2019, and again in 2021, 2022, and 2024. Additionally, Maido, a Peruvian restaurant, was named the “World’s Best Restaurant” for 2025.
