WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP FOR ASLAN AND SIMBA!

We were contacted on behalf of a member of the public by their personal support worker about a situation that was described as having gotten out of hand, a group of 8 kittens (from 3 separate litters) and their mothers have been surrendered and many have been admitted for hospital care due to the severity of their illness, and we urgently need your help.

PLEASE HELP US HELP THEM!

Severe upper respiratory illness has run rampant in this home, and combined with less than ideal food that was not as readily available as it should have been, these kitties have been suffering tremendously.

PLEASE DONATE TO HELP FUND HOSPITAL CARE AND TREATMENT

Eye removal surgeries have been completed on 2 of the 8 kittens rescued from this difficult situation, after both took turns for the worse while in hospital care, with Simba seeing increasing ocular pressure and a corneal ulcer than unfortunately ruptured on poor Aslan, leaving both kittens in unimaginable pain - now recovering from the surgeries, the boys already feel relief to their suffering, despite now having surgical interventions to recover from.
Both Aslan and Simba are now eating well, a testament to the severity of the pain they had been enduring, and slowly but surely their upper respiratory symptoms are resolving.
After being in hospital care with surgery, antibiotics, pain medications and support, these little boys are brighter, more comfortable, and they have even begun to show some signs of the playful and sweet little kitten personalities we know they have under the burden of all they have suffered.

We are seeking a local foster home in the Hamilton area for a litter of 4 fun and fabulous fellows who just need a safe and loving space to continue to grow! Healthy and happy kittens, they thrive on love and cuddles!
