Just like how we love featuring a wide range of beautiful coffees from around the world, we also take great joy in working closely with our friends at Cultivate Tea (Vancouver, BC 🇨🇦) to share a diverse selection of ceremonial-grade matcha — from the West of Japan to the East.

Here are some of the matcha varieties we've featured on rotation:

🍵 Matcha Hikari — Nishio, Aichi Prefecture (Central Japan)
🍵 Matcha Hana — Nishio, Aichi Prefecture (Central Japan)
🍵 Matcha Kakegawa — Shizuoka Prefecture (Eastern Japan)
🍵 Matcha Yamabuki — Fukuoka Prefecture (Western Japan)

Each one brings something unique to your cup — flavour, aroma, and story. Which one have you tried?

SNIITE from Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵 ()

Last March, we took a trip to Tokyo, Japan—and the coffee scene there was simply incredible. Nearly every small café roasts its own beans as a micro coffee roaster, offering unique experiences at each stop.

One of the highlights of our trip was visiting a coffee shop called SNIITE, located in a quiet neighborhood near Sangenjaya Subway Station. As we stepped inside, we were warmly greeted by the owner and roaster, Kambe-san, along with a striking round bench made of polyethylene at the center of the shop.

We ordered a filter coffee brewed with Colombian San Isidro Washed Pink Bourbon beans. It was absolutely delightful—notes of grapefruit and white peach, with a long, honey-like sweetness. Truly one of the best coffees we’ve had in a while.

We’re beyond excited to bring the experience we had at SNIITE in Japan to you in Canada. This also marks SNIITE’s first-ever feature in North America!

We are featuring the following coffees from SNIITE.

FRITZ from Seoul, Korea 🇰🇷 ()

It has been a while since the last time we featured coffee from Korean or Asian coffee roasters! 🦭☕️

FRITZ is one of Sabin's regular coffee shops whenever he visits his family in Korea. Moreover, FRITZ is one of the iconic specialty coffee roasters from Korea.

FRITZ has always been doing trade trades with coffee producers around the world since their establishment in 2014.

Also, among the many characteristics of green coffee beans, Fritz prioritizes sweetness. Coffee can almost be called a fruit, as it possesses both bright acidity and sweetness. We value the clean, sugarcane-like sweetness found in high-quality beans the most—it's the natural, wholesome sweetness that nature provides!

The following coffees are available.

▫️Costa Rica Herbazu, Natural San Roque, 🍇🍊🍓
▫️Colombia El Diviso, Washed Pink Bourbon, 🍓🥭🌺
▫️Colombia El Diviso, EA Decaffeinated Pink Bourbon, 🍓🍇🌹
▫️Costa Rica Vista Al Valle, Honey Villa Sarchi, 🫐🍊🍫
▫️Ethiopia Jimma Jarso, Natural Heirloom, 🫐🍒🍫

Introducing AUTUMN CIDER! 🍎🫚

Last week, we made a visit to Bennet's Apple & Cider in Ancaster. It is amazing that they grow many different varietal of apples (some varietals we have never heard of) and their cider is the best apple cider we have ever tried; not overly sweet and so much apple flavor in one sip.

AUTUMN CIDER is served with Spiced Bennet's Apple Cider Reduction, Premium Ginger Beer, Espresso, and garnished with star anise & cinnamon stick.

It's only served cold, but those spices infused in the drink will warm your soul and body. 😝

Served until Novemeber 1st.
