Cancer Can Be Beaten

Mr Popples! I originally received Mr Popples as a gift when I was going through my treatment for Leukemia. We became close as I shared all of my worries and fears with him. I felt that we was my good luck charm in my recovery.
Flash forward several years and my god daughter now had to go through similar treatment. I gave her Mr. Popples in hope that she would find the comfort (and luck) that he had given me. 3 years ago, she gave Mr Popples back, as I was going through breast cancer treatment. Mr Popples has seen us through some hard times!

Brrrrr…….. actually this was 3 years ago today (thank you Apple for reminding me). I was at a work conference in Quebec, and it was cold! A storm came through and we actually had to stay an extra day as all the flights were cancelled. I can tell you that this was one of my most favourite trips! Spending time with my peers and enjoying all the sights that Quebec had to offer! Looking back now, if I had known what was in store for me, (Breast Cancer) and what was coming, (Covid). I’m not sure that I would have enjoyed myself as much as I did. It’s amazing how quickly life can change.
