Calming Effect

I've been very quiet since Christmas reflecting on my business, family and life. One of the decisions I have made is to close Calming Effect. It is a great business and I do urge anyone who loves to sew and would like to start a small business making aromatherapy heating/cooling pillows to take the jump and do it!

For those of you who know me, I get bored easily and have no patience. I enjoy the hype, preparation, socializing, community of local small businesses gathering and being vendors at markets, but this pandemic has put a damper on all that for me and I made the decision to take another path

I should have made Christmas boxes like I did last year, but I know all small businesses are very busy without the lockdowns this year ... so I opted out *ugh*

I have a customer who has bought several boxes from me for her employees and families in the past reach out to me to see if I had made any this year, unfortunately I didn't but had several repeat customers ask. I was happy to say I was able to put a few boxes together for her ... Next year will be a different story, boxes will be available for Christmas!

Kid sick season is upon us!
