Alex Wilson is the Workers Vote for Change candidate for Ward 13 City Councillor. Currently on leave from working for Hamilton West Ancaster Dundas Member of Provincial Parliament Sandy Shaw. Alex is a renter and understands the housing crisis that the entire city is facing.

Currently on leave from working for Hamilton West Ancaster Dundas Member of Provincial Parliament Sandy Shaw, Alex has extensive experience working with other community members on environmental issues and more. Lynda Lukasik is the Workers Vote for Change candidate in Ward 5 City Councillor.

Lynda Lukasik has been endorsed by the Hamilton District Labour Council, Amalgamated Transit Union Local 107, CUPE 5167, (Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation) OSSTF District 21 and ACORN Hamilton, the tenants’ rights union. Lynda was born and raised in Hamilton by a working class steelworker family and has lived in Ward 5 for 26 years. She is a co-founder and the executive director of Environment Hamilton, and has decades of community involvement and activism on issues of the environment and public health. Lynda holds an honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from McMaster University, a Masters of Environmental Studies from Dalhousie University, & a Doctoral degree in Urban & Regional Planning from the Universty of Waterloo. Lynda has been on the forefront of pushing for good green jobs, climate action, and building affordable housing in Hamilton - and as Councillor will be an incredibly knowledgeable policy maker who will be ready to start working on behalf of Hamiltonians on day one.

Councillor Nrinder Nann is the Workers Vote for Change candidate for Ward 3 City Councillor.

Councillor Nann has been endorsed by the Hamilton District Labour Council, Amalgamated Transit Union Local (ATU) 107, Canadian Union of Public Employees(CUPE), (Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation) OSSTF District 21 and ACORN Hamilton, the tenants' rights union. She served as the National Representative on Youth Issues for the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) and later as staff for the national union umbrella organization. Councillor Nann proudly calls Ward 3 her home. She has worked tirelessly as Hamilton City Councillor to integrate workers' voices in city decisions and policy making. As a councillor, she has championed a firm urban boundary to protect farmland; Supported demands for paid sick days during the pandemic for all workers. Advanced the living wage. Nrinder championed advancing the City's Vacant Homes Tax to ensure empty homes are occupied and not squatted on by developers. She moved a motion to call for a strategic land acquisition plan on the LRT corridor gains for all City of Hamilton employees. To force more affordable housing development. She moved motions to prevent city tax dollars from going to developers who displace tenants. She is a regular feature at worker-focused protests and labour day events. As Councillor, she has continuously championed the rights of working-class Hamilotians.
